Bodega Langes Co.Ltd. was founded in 1999 with a total investment
of USD 29.7 million by Mr. Gernot ? Langes ? Swarovski, a well known
entrepreneur from Austria. The company is involved in the business
of grape planting, wine brewing, oak barrel manufacturing, new products
R&D and a training programme on further value-added grape processing
etc.

Langes is located in Changli, Hebei, which is geographically predestined
to produce fine Chinese wines, also known as Oriental Bordeaux.
The region has ideal climatic conditions, a moderate sea breeze,
a great difference in temperature between the day and night, and
sandy soil, which allows the vines to grow and produce a remarkable
range of international grape varieties.
The key to producing good quality wine is to control its growth.
The company possesses nearly 188 hectares of vineyard that is completely
run by specialists who practice strict control of the grape harvest
and quantity per unit. We adopt the international brewing method¡ªNatural
Gravity brewing, which is only used in the high-end wine chateaus
of France. To further guarantee the wine quality, the company also
invested 3 million USD to import advanced wine producing equipment
from Italy and France.
The company always sticks to producing totally organic grapes and
quality wine. All its products comply with the national standard
for green food and the Standard of OIV. We established our own sales
distribution system and VIP collectors wine club, the main purpose
of which is to promote the wine drinking culture to spread widely
in China and build a communication bridge among wine lovers to share
in the ability to appreciate good wine.
Bodega Langes is the first one in Asia that possesses its own oak
barrel plant that employs advanced production equipment and high
quality oak timber. The oaks are from Changbai Mt., which is famous
for producing quality timber in North China. Currently we are able
to produce 3500 oak barrels per year. Importing oak barrels from
overseas is now history.
Bodega Langes also has its own luxury hotel-restaurant and a visitor
center, which offer a combination of dinning,
accommodation and absolutely unique vino-therapy SPA treatments.
The most unforgettable and special experience in our wine chateau
is that we provide a service to our guests to let them participate
in the grape harvest and to brew their wine on their own.
